High!
Finally, I shaved off my "talibeard" except for the moustache... like I did already in 2003 and 2005, but else than before, now it seems to work... despite having not lost weight since then, I look somewhat less chubby in my face.
Some problem might occur early next year, when I will apply for some job interviews (as a programmer/software developer) - nowadays, there are hardly any positive role models left for long-haired moustached men, I think that the very first common notion of such a guy is "violent druggy", "pimp", "under-class brute"... so it's not that improbable that I re-grow a neat goatee until February - unless I'm lucky enough to find an employer who's into 1970s hard rock...
What do you think about this and my new look in general?

Yo Yadgar. u luk ossum mate! if i were u i wudnt be bothered about the luk. and since ur lukin for a job as a software programmer, i guess ur best suited, appearance wise! am sure u must have heard about the Jargon File maintained by Eric Raymond, one of the most well known hackers today! Just have a luk at the portrait of a Random Hacker and u wud know wat i mean. so dont worry about nethin mate and all the best on ur job hunt! On a related note, most famous hackers have a moustache (Eric Raymond, Larry Wall-the perl guy etc.)

Looks great. I don't know why, but I thought of Lech Walesa. His stache has gone grey in recent years though. I wonder what he would have look like with long hair.
