Just when I posted my updates in the last post, I mentioned on my last "really short" haircut, which was on 10th Dec 1999.
Now that was brought up, I'm just curious if anyone here remembered the date of your last "really short" haircut? Or if you are currently in the awkward stage or even with a short haircut, but endeavour to grow your hair long, what's the date of your last haircut?
Keen to share your long hair's "birthday"? And yeah, I'll be celebrating my hair's 7th birthday in slightly more than month's time :).

My Hair Birthaday is Oct 19, 2005, (update coming soon).
Don't remember the exact day, but it was the week prior to Christmas in 2005. Will have one year pictures over the holidays.

Well, my hair was never really short. When I decided to grow my
hair, I thought that I would be growing it only "several inches longer.
But weeks turned into months...and then months turned into years
and now I am approaching my 5 year anniversary (Feb. 5, 2002 was
when I had my last haircut.) The thing is, when I started growing out my hair I already had about four inches.
I haven't touched my hair since then, but I've never actually measured my exact hair length.
Anyway it's about down to the small of my back. I may post a pic on my 5th anniversary.

I don't know the exact date, but I think the last time I had a really short haircut was May 2003, with a number 1 'short back and sides'. However, by late September 2003, when I had my last ever haircut, I seem to recall that it was long enough to be curling at the back, so who knows if May is correct.
Either way, I'm definitely at 37 months since my decision to grow. It feels so strange to think that my hair just about dates back to high school (I left in July 2003); that feels like a lifetime ago and it's like my hair is some ancient remnant!

May 12, 2006 with a short trim in the back on October 2. But from now on, I'm just letting it grow. =)
It is easy for me to remember (as it wasn't really all that long ago).
I got my last 'short' haircut (my last haircut of any sort, actually) on April 23.
(So I am just past 6 months of growing...and it is starting to get that wild and crazy look regardless of what I put into it to try and control it. That's curly hair for ya!)

I love this site and really admire the great hair and the great courage shown by those who have the inner conviction to push past social norms and to be the self they wish to create. Good for you all!
