Well, this month's update is about a week late due to an extra busy week at school. So, without further ado, here is the result of 14 months of growing my hair from a really short cut.
The wet hair pics kind of piss me off, because they show me how much length is being hidden by the curliness of my hair when it is dry =/
Comments and such are welcome as usual.
Cool hair man, it gets better with every update.
Have you trimmed the back at all, or is it just that curly it holds itself up, as it kind of looks the same length on the sides as it is on the back.
No trims yet. Since the back is curlier, it appears to be the same length as the sides.
Love the Hair, SOADdude!
Brown, Curly Manlocks, well on their way to the collar....
Keep it up!

Definitely looking good. Your curls will look really sweet in another 12-18 months. =)
I hear ya with being busy with schoolwork. yuck!

Looking good - starting to get some serious length there mate!
Excellent growth. It seems much longer each month. Looks like your hair is really beginning to hit the shoulders now. Won't be too long before you can tie it back, etc. Like the curls, but I'm partial to them!
Bragi
Thanks, Bragi. How long is your hair these days? Has it recovered from the trim you had back when you had that confrontation with an employer?
Unbeleivably enough, it is growing back pretty quick. No scissors since May 10th... When wet it is nearly as long as yours when dry. It is starting to look longer now too in just the past month, like I want it that way rather than I just forgot to cut it for a while! I'm getting there, and thanks for asking! It will be sometime next year before I get back the length I had, but it will come.
Hi dude, the hair is looking fantastic, and you know, it isn't that much shorter when dry, very metal!!
Beard is maturing nicely too, keep it up, Regards Dave
Looking really nice!!
Good length, and the curls look great.
That black beard is going to look great as it develops, too.
Thanks for the update,
- Oren
your hair looks great man. reminds me of my own hair. i never did learn how to keep the hair looking wet and showing the full length, if i used product it just curled up later, if i let it go dry it puffed like yours. i found that using a hydrating/moisturizing conditioner helped a lot, id then dry the hair by patting it with a towel but leaving it still pretty wet. id finger comb it back, slicking it back and then put a hat on backward to hold the hair that way. when id take it off and it was dry it would come out like the 2nd picture. you can see that the upper potion of the hair is straighter and adds some length. if i didnt do that and let it dry naturally it came out like the third and fourth.

also since i see your hair is pretty frizzy in the back i found what worked for me was only washing with water and conditioner (make sure its for hydrating and moisturizing curly hair needs it a lot). only use shampoo on your hair 2-3x a week tops. hope this helps some
Yeah, I noticed the frizz in that pic too. At first, it concerned me, but then I just ran my hand down the back of my hair a few times and the frizz went away. It must have just been the wind that day =P
