Hi guys, hope everyone had a great Holloween. I'm growing a beard and at almost two weeks, besides itching, I have a question on acne medication. This is the first time in my life I've been able to grow one due to military and other jobs but I've always applyed Clearasil to help with my very oily face. You would figure at 47 one wouldn't need it anymore but I'm addicted. My question is since I have this new growth on my face is it necessary to apply it on the bearded part of my face? I would think not since hair is growing out of the pours and they souldn't be prone to break out. Anyone out there have this problem or have gone through it? The beard has enough grey in it let alone putting white cream, Clearasil, to make it look even more grey or white. Thanks, Woodman
In most Health Food stores (or grocery stores like Whole Foods) you can buy various facial scrub products, --- my favorite being made by a company called "JASON". I think it works great at getting through the beard layer and into the removing process of the old dead skin layer. I had bad acne as a teenager; but I haven't had a problem in many many years with it, --- and as I recal, it was after I discovered facial scrub that the acne went away.
Try it, and see how if works for you!
