Hi. I am a fellow long hair with mid-back length dark brown curly(when wet and before combing it when it is dry) hair. I posted a long while back. I don't remember when that was. Anyway I was wondering about the subject of hair lines. For some reason I always look at my hair line in the front when I am in the bathroom. Every little hair I check to see if it's still there. When one falls out I get depressed. Is there anything you guys can tell me about hairlines? Hair lines are just a small percentage of the hair, but I was just wondering abouot that. Thank you.
what's happening--is yours receding? join the club. but as long as you have something up there it's not so bad. you may have to move where you part your hair though. in fact, there are guys who are bald on top who look fine. I don't know of anything you can do about a receding hairline (assuming you have one) except adapt and go with it, just like everything else as the years go by. Having to get up in the middle of the night comes to mind as an example. Some others laying in wait for when you hit oh, mid-40s or so:
Exercising not just to look good but to keep from falling apart.
Wearing cheap over the counter magnifying glasses to read small print on the bottles, containing the vitamins, that you take to keep from falling apart.
Saying goodbye to red meat, full fat dairy and anything fried and Hello Salads.
Goodbye cigarettes and alchohol and Hello DRE and colonoscopy.
Thinking that 25 years ago you were 20, and it doesn't seem that long ago, then suddenly realizing that in about 5 minutes you'll be 70 and getting depressed. Then deciding to quit your job, do what you really want to do in life which is collect driftwood and buy a real fast sports car, then deciding you can't afford the car and collecting driftwood has a poor health plan, so what's left is to grow a ponytail which is cheap, and is something you can do by not doing something, and hey, how many deals like that are out there?
okay, enough. probably more information than you wanted.
