Awesome spectacular-ness. Don't worry about the girls - their hair may be shorter, but you might just impress them enough for them to grow it out. Regardless of whether they grow it or not, I'm sure your hair's at least impressing them!
To plagiarize gman, killer hair. :P I can't believe you're only eighteen (I think? I forgot what the numbers in the post were, lol). You're lucky you were allowed to grow from so early on.
Peace, man
Actually I was not very keen on growing it during the start of my journey. I was only 11 then, and had been having regular haircuts every 6 weeks.
I come from a very religious and orthodox family. My mom had said that I have features that make me look like Jesus Christ. Just a few months before my 11th birthday she asked me to grow my hair to the shoulders, as it would give me more of a traditional look.
I hated it during the early/awkward phase with hair lobbing out of my ears. It was not long enough to be put in a ponytail, yet it tended to bother me.I gradually got used to it.
I didnt have problems at school because I went to a Christian school. Every morning, mom used to put them in two braids at the side of my head.
After having reached the shoulder length (that was when I was 13 or 14), I decided to let it grow longer to see how further it would go. And then there was no looking back from there. To me, my hair is my most prized possession, and I will never cut it in my life.
I must give credit to my mom who got me into this style, because if it was not for her, I wouldnt have reached this stage.
Hi your hair looks lovely hun, its great that a guy makes the most of his hair, i bet it looks really beautifull now when you wear it in 2 plaits, i like to make the most of my hair aswell, mine is over halfway down my back and i like to wear it as i want, even if it doesn't conform to how guys should wear there hair.
Thanks for your nice comments. Unfortunately I dont wear my hair in 2 braids anymore (in fact its never in a braid, always in a ponytail or bun). Also I do not like to experiment with different styles when Im out, and normally conform to how guys should wear their hair.
Thanks n good luck on ur journey
