No, I'm not pregnant. :P
As of today, I'm exactly nine months into my quest for long hair. The awkward stage is driving my crazy and I've been having minor thoughts about getting some trims. Stave off your cries of "BLASPHEMY!". I'll hold out.
My mother has bombarded me with how I should make it 'funky' like 'those people on TV'. NEVER. It's getting REALLY tiring now. It should've hit her by now that it's my decision and not hers. Apparently not.
Without further rambling, here you go...
Enclosed are pics from the front, sides and back. The second set are me with a so-pathetic-it's-not-one-but-I'm-going-to-call-it-one-anyway-super-fantastic-PONYTAIL. Yeah...I've got a LOOOOOOONG way to go before it's decent.
I would vote for side pose and the back pose without pony...looks great ...
Bye the way how long was it before 9months? I am almost nearing 7.5-8 months with shaven head ...
You should be able to manage your hair in next 3months when it woul start looking still better. Keep it g(r)o(w)ing.
Srini.
Hi Nocturnal,
good to see how well it's growing - keep it up, the awkward stace will not last forever! You got a great face for long hair, by the way. A few months down the road, you'll be able to wear a GREAT pony tail or many other styles you may like. - Trims are certainly unnecessary - wait another half year IF you really want them, and then be careful about choosing a hair stylist (NOT your mother, by the way), get references from other long-haired male customers first.
All the best, and happy growth!
Hans-Uwe
