Since we have such an international group here, IÂ’ll ask this questionÂ…
Anyone here from Scotland, especially someone who has the typical Lowland Scots accent? I’m working on a project about Robert Burns and his poem, “A Red, Red Rose.” I’ve got to do a presentation about the poem and was trying figure out how to read it with a Scots accent. I just practiced it aloud (by myself!!!), but it just sounds ridiculous!
IÂ’ve tried to find websites too but canÂ’t find anything much really. I canÂ’t get in touch with Gerard Butler, so IÂ’ll have to go another route ;-)Â…
Thanks, Bragi (with a Southern US accent)
do it in your own accent
people who try to be scottish (but are not) are a pain in le derrier (or la derrier) lol
p..s it is 'scottish' (the scots are a Race not an accent)
