So, yeah, some of you remember my post about my hair frustrations a few days ago. Well I haven't cut it just yet haha. Decided I'd throw up a pic from last July, at least I think it was July...Anyway, I'm turning 18 in about 6 days now, I can hardly wait :D my hair pretty much looks the same as in this pic except I part it on the other side now. Also it's not usually quite that straight heh.
Anyway, thoughts/comments/feedback/suggestions are welcome and appreciated as I am a little apprehensive about posting a pic of myself :P
Hmmm, well the image wasn't showing up on my computer when I checked, let me try that again...
Really really nice long hair Kevin. It compliments you highly. And............."HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
That's awesome hair! I know you have been contemplating cutting it but after seeing your hair, and knowing how long you have been growing it, I would think really seriously before making that decision, to avoid any regrets later. (but the decision has to be yours to make) Anyway, have a happy birthday! David
Hi Kevin,
your hair looks gorgeous, great length, great color - and it goes extremely well with your face (and the goatee, too)! By all means, keep it and grow it even longer! In my personal opinion, cutting it off would be tantamount to self-mutilation - I'd say, stay whole and grow from there!
I wish you wholeness, health, and good luck for you 18th birthday! Hope you always feel really good about yourself, and may you have a happy life.
Grow it forever, brother!

Fine hair and a fine beard - keep 'em growing and don't be shy about showing them off.
You have choices - you could try it say a couple of inches shorter which would still look good or carry on growing. It is not necessary to grow to terminal point to be a long hair and many of us elect for shoulder blade or mid back rather than terminal. That means the odd cut - which gets rid of split ends as well as keeps what each of us is happy with.
WOW, I sure wish I had been allowed to have my own hair that long when I was your age... my dad wouldn't allow it, so I left home at age 18 to go into the workforce and be allowed to make my own decisions about my hair. I had my hair "long-ISH" by age 19, and then into my 20s and 30s; but it wasn't until my 40th birthday that I celebrated my first genuine ponytail...
One perspective you gain with age is the ability to look back at your own youth and its decisions. If I could re-live my youth all over again, I would without a doubt grow my hair as long as I could. Right now, I'm at the ripe old age of 53, --- and feel lucky that most of the hair on my head is still intact, and still has a fair amount of my original honey-blonde color (althogh it is getting whiter by the day)! But, with age, most everybody's hair at least thins out considerably, --- and in many cases, male pattern baldness can set in by 30. So, my advise is: keep your hair as long as possible for as long as you still love it. You can always cut it when you get older, if that's what you wish to do (although I obviously DON'T - lol!!); but if you cut it now, I guarantee that somebody on planet Earth will weep over that sad decision. You have a great-looking head of hair, --- so I hope you continue to let it grow & flow!!!

PS - Hope you're feeling better... I was kinda worried when I read that you decided you'd "throw up" a pic!! (Apologies over my twisted sense of humor!)
