Hey there guys!
I just can't believe how sweet my mom is being with me about my hair =) I just have an apointment for tomorow with the dermatologist to check up with my scalp desiese... So finally I know what's happening with my scalp and hopefully I can get it to an end... Obviously, if it's a chronical problem, I won't care and will definitly keep my hair growing forever (nothing can stop me now =) =) =) ). I hope things turn out great for me =)
Also, my mother just bought me sweet almond oil for my hair =) YAY! Finally I have an oil I can apply to my hair =D I'm gonna try it tomorrow and see what it does for me =)
Any tips on how to use oil on hair?? I guess some of you could give me great advice about it =)
Thank's for reading =) And sorry I haven't posted for a while but I'm just SO much busy with the university... Oh well =P
Long hair FOREVER!
See ya! =D
I know what you mean. My mom always makes sure that I have plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and hair oil on hand =)
Here are some tips on using the oil. I found that this has worked best for me.
1)For best results, apply when hair is wet.
2) Don't apply it too high up. Of course you know that the hair closest to your scalp gets plenty of sebum, so applying oil to this area isn't necessary. I always do about the last few inches.
3)Experiment until you find the right amount that it takes. You may end up with the oiled region being too oily or not oily enough the first few times, but keep experimenting until you find the right amount required.
Hope this helped =)
I hope that dermatologist finally discovers what your problem is and then treats it once and for all.
Good Luck!
That's very good news about your mom--you are fortunate but I'm sorry to hear about your scalp and I wish you good luck with that.
about the oil, all I can say is you don't need much. I tried oil once and found a little went a long way. In my case I discovered I didn't need it. I hope everything works out for you.
Hi Joao David,
I find that applying almond oil (or any other kind of beneficial oil) is easiest to do when my hair is still damp, --- because the dampness helps to distribute the oil better than when dry. But, you can really do either damp or dry. After I shampoo & condition, I pour into the palm of my hand approximately about a coin's size worth of the oil. Much more than that, and your hair will become a little too greasy-looking. And I only apply it to my hair ends, then comb through to help distribute it. It also doesn't hurt to sort of "massage" the oil into the lower half of your hair, and even winding it around and around (twisting your hair like a tornado). Eventually you'll find your way to just the right amount to use...
And, yes, you do indeed have a very cool mom!!
