One night i was really pissed at my hair basically because of sheding and i cut 4 locks really short........
Is that a problem........??????
i red somewhere on the net a tip by Dr George Michael saying that we should keep our hair tha same lenght or else nature will try to even the short hairs with excessive sheding...and my hair will become patchy.......
Is this true??????????
Well, yes, --- only in that I bet it looks pretty funny now.
Dr George Michael sounds like a self-proclaimed know-it-all who knows nothing about hair. I have a bridge for sale. It's called the "Golden Gate". You can send me the million $$ anytime you wish... And if you believe that, then please also feel free to believe this so-called doctor!

Well, its not soooo funny but it's definitely kind of annoying...
Dr George Michael owns a salon in NYC specialised in long hair.....
he is a plastic sergeon for sure the specific tip didn't sound really good to me either......
I mean........c'mon some people have part of their head shaven...will nature try to even that???
Over time your hair tends to even out but chopping out locks will
certainly not help. Growth comes fromm th roots of the hair and
cutting it will have no effect on hair growth.
Leave your hair alone and just let it grow.
what do u mean "Over time your hair tends to even out"?that my hair wont be always the same lenght or that nature will try to balance the locks?????
I think what was meant is that (without cutting) your hair will eventually reach about the same length all over your head. The longest hairs will reach their natural terminal length, while the shorter ones keep growing until they reach theirs. Without being cut or otherwise artifically shortened (such as breakage), they'll all eventually be roughly the same.
is that what u believe????
That's been my experience both with my own hair over the last few years, and observing my wife's hair growth over the last several.
so i wont shed to even out the hair....... right???
Think about it. How is one hair follicle on one part of your scalp going to know what's going on with another follicle on another part of your scalp?
For that matter, I've known plenty of long-haired women that have their bangs cut short. The rest of their hair doesn't fall out or otherwise shorten itself to match the length of the bangs.
Before my wife grew hers out her bangs were maybe an inch or two in length and the rest varied from two-four inches long. After she stopped cutting it it has all grown out to just shy of waist length. The bangs, which were significantly shorter than the rest, caught up with the rest. They just had to spend a little more time growing to reach their terminal length.
That's all i needed to hear
