You guys are all really inspiring. I do have a bald spot but decided what the heck. I've earned it. And I;ve always chickened out from just letting it grow. Think it's time.

you are absolutely right, a bald spot shouldn't hold anyone back. I'd go further and I'd say even in "horse shoe" pattern, long hair would look great. I remember that several posters would agree with that...
