I've been lurking the boards for a while, but now I've decided to become an active member here and post some of my pics. Since my last haircut (1st of August)to the time my parents OK'ed me growing my hair out, I've been searching for tips for maintaining my hair. I shampoo and conditioner my hair daily (It's way too short to do every other day and gets very greasy and nasty if I don't) and comb my hair several times a day. Anyway, enough of my rambling....
A picture taken the 2nd of October (earliest pic to the time I last got my hair cut)
I scaled them down some, but when I scaled them down lower than this, it became hard to make out, so forgive me for the large images. (Pictures taken November 13)
Hair combed all the way down (Emo much? :P )
An annoying swoosh thing I do with my hair to keep it out of my face.
Length of my banes (They come down to the tip of my upper lip)
Anyway, I can't wait until my hair gets longer! But yes, it does take absolutely forever.
to the Men's Long Hair Hyperboard. You will surely find many great tips here about growing your hair out. For a starter, look in "Links" at the top of the page for a variety of very helpful hints. And be sure to read "On Being a Longhair" written by Bill Choisser of the Tech Crew right here.
You are doing great for only 3 months and appear to have hair that will be sensational when long............as if it isn't already right now. And are you ever lucky at having the approval of family which is usually the opposite.
Glad that you found us.
Hm...I guess I entered the same URL for all 3 pictures :B Anyway... The other ones.
Here's the hair swoosh thing I do to keep it out of my eyes.
Bane length. Comes to the upper lip.
Anyway, thank you Justin. But I didn't get approval really until a month ago or so. They wanted me to get a haircut, but when they talked to some friends for advice, they suggested I should be allowed to grow it out. Hpefully, they'll let me continue on my long-hair journey. (Since I'm a senior, I might be able to pull it off.
Looks good on ya. I remember when mine was that length and yea, it gets a little annoying when you can't keep it out of your eyes. Mine was falling in my eyes for a few months before it got long enough to stay parted. Anyway, have fun growing it out.
Hi Brandon,
good to see you! You got great hair, and the current stage is certainly no reason for "Emo" alarm (and, even if it were, so what?) You'll look better and better as it grows on (looking quite good already), and, indeed, you don't have to listen to anyone and you don't have to repeat anything they may say to you - grow what's inside you.
Looking forward to your 2008 updates...
All the best!
