Hello! I know that it's not about hair but i used to watch this show called "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and now I download episodes on eMule ;). So I was wondering if anybody used to watch this show?
I've watched the first four seasons. I always had a thing for Willow.
Have you checked out her new show? (How I met your mother?)
She's still cute there but I liked her as the geeky, gothy, quirky Willow. Definitely my type of chick! I wish she kept the incredible long hair she had in season one.
yeah her hair looked great... but if you like a geeky willow then you should watch a movie called "american pie" and "american pie 2" "american wedding"
I especially liked the episode timeline 6x19 - 6x22 when willow was so angry and sad because tara died so she became a very evil black hair willow
Hi Vytautas,
PLEASE STOP downloading copyrighted movies on e-mule or anywhere else on the internet! This is a criminal offense in all EU countries these days! Plus, you owe the movie copyright owners AT LEAST a few hundred thousand Litas in civil damages!
By admitting what you did on a PUBLIC message board that is archived by several search engines, you have called the attention of the movie copyright owners to your computer. They do screen the internet for such evidence, and they will press criminal charges AND seek civil damages. Why didn't you just buy the movie in a store for about 60 Litas / 17 Euros?
They now have your first name and your photo to look for you - and possibly a lot more information!
I'd say, you best bet is to first delete all downloaded movies from your hard disk as quickly as possible, and then to apply software that securely erases all traces of the movies so that the police can't retrieve the files even if they confiscate the computer (chances are they will do that). Files that are only deleted can be retrieved easily by law enforcement agencies.
And, by all means, don't download anything that's copyrighted any more!
Just to clarify: I don't have anything to do with either the copyright owners (they are incredibly greedy), or with law enforcement. I myself think that many of these rules are way over the top. However, since these rules are the law, we need to obey them. I'm just trying to keep you out of trouble.

Are they really that strict in Europe? I heard about a couple cases Here in the states where someone got prosecuted for sharing thousands of MP3's on Kazaa or Grokster(can't remember which). But after around 2002 i never heard of anything like that happening again. From what i have seen though, the authorities mainly look for people who distribute these copyrighted goods rather than the people who download them because that stops it at the source. Again, I am unfamiliar with Europe's handle on that law. I would reccommend putting anything with major legal issues(like movies) on a CD and deleting it from your hard drive. But I think the laws for that are 80% there to scare you and 20% acted upon. But definately be careful.
Hey i was kidding i don't download anthing i was just joking
Hi Vytautas,
I believe you. However, if I were one of those swines from the movie industry, I would still try everything to prosecute you - just one more case where I get a juicy reward. One way is to snoop the internet for data packages with your name that originate in Lithuania and are addressed to the MLHH IP number in the US. It's trivial, even if billions of packages have to be screened, and the equipment to do this has been in place for a long time. I hope and pray that this won't happen.
All the best,
Hans-Uwe
Hi Devin,
yes they are strict here. Since these EU regulations have to be molded into national laws by all member states, the situation is very similar all over Europe. Nevertheless, the movie industry keeps griping about "losses" and continues to criminalize occasional file sharers. It never occurred to them that the whole file sharing business would stop dead in its tracks, if they simply lowered the prices. I don't mind buying movies with the original packing whenever I want to give them as a gift to someone. In their original packing, they simply are much nicer than self-copied or downloaded CD's or DVD's in improvised paper jackets, and, data security usually is better with bought CD's or DVD's. The problem is that many people can't afford spending 17 Euros on a movie they want to have, and the temptation for downloading is incredibly big.
Copyright holders snoop the internet to see which computers send or receive movie data packages. The packages contain the IP numbers of the involved computers. Once copyright holders have these packages, they request criminal charges. Then, courts are required to subpoena the internet providers to release names and addresses of some ten thousand users matching the IP numbers involved, in Germany, and eg in France, too. Affected file sharers then have criminal proceedings against them usually resulting in a fine of one or several thousand Euros and a criminal record. Civil servants also lose their jobs because a criminal record usually is incompatible with civil-servant status.
In addition, civil courts served them cease-and-desist orders as requested by movie industry associations, and these have a civil penalty of another thousand Euros or more attached to them (plus several 10,000 euros for each future infraction). (Unfortunately, cease-and-desist orders are easy to obtain here, and they are abused extensively by crooks who just want to make money.)
Right now, there are several 10,000 criminal and civil proceedings taking place here because the movie industry presses charges. (Well, the situation here is pretty absurd, albeit not quite as bad as in some countries, where hanging is mandatory for possession of 1/2 kilogram even of certain "soft" herbs.)
I'll stop griping now and move on to happier topics...
Stay safe,
Hans-Uwe
Bear in mind there is very little anonymity on the internet.
Whenever you do anything on the internet it can
be traced back to you. They may have to get a court order to
do it but it can be traced back to you.
I watched the show and loved it.
I like to pretend the movie never existed.
BTW, if you like BTVS you'll love Angel, Firefly (Serenity).
JW also strongly recommends Veronica Mars.
BTW, it does have something to do with hair. Angel had long
hair in past years.
Oh the show is on repeats on FX and is available on DVD.
