How does everyone here tir their hair back in a ponytail?
Seeing how I part my hair down the middle I used to just tie it back with the part in my hair visable but latley I dont like the way it looks. I have been trying to wear my hair back without a part but my part it still shows after a bit, geuss I just need to keep brushing it back until my part goes away and I can tie it back without any part. Anyone else have this problem or found a way around it?
I can totally relate, although I've come to realize that the parted ponytail seems to give a softer look that goes better with my face. Regardless....
I don't brush my hair at all, since curly hair is very fragile, brushing is potentially perilous, and I have super-curly hair. So I just wet my hair a bit and push my hair back with my hand, ensuring that the bangs cover the center part. It's only my bangs that cover the part; the rest of my head would be covered whether I did a brushed-back ponytail or a center-parted one. You should try slicking the bangs over the part with either gel or water before tying the tail, because it can sometimes be a bit tricky if you attempt it after.
Try to stay away from hard brushing, and remember that you may have to move some of your hair diagonally back instead of straight back to cover the part properly.
HTH.
