Nihility,
The photo of you on the list of new members shows that you've got some really beautiful hair . . . but it doesn't show the length. Any chance you could post a few pics that show the full length of that fantastic mane of yours? And how long have you been growing it?
I was going to make a post and say hi to the board after they added me. I just found this site a couple days ago just after coming home from having 6+ inches of my hair chopped off. This was the first time scissors had touched my hair in 3 years. Before then, it was down to my mid back, but now it's little more than shoulder length. The reason for the cut was because I didn't take very good care of my hair and the ends were all dried out and badly split and since it was all different lengths, the only way to get it all was to take off a large chunk. Wish I would have found this board first though.. It sounds like people have lots of advice concerning those types of problems. But, oh well. My hair is all uniform length now, something it has never been, and I'm not sure if I'm really liking it. At least I can get a brush through it now without feeling like I'm about to rip all my hair out. And hey, I can always let it go for another 3 years if I want. =) Anyway, you asked for some more pics so.. here ya go.
Before: A bad pic, but it's the only one I could find on my computer that showed the full length. This was actually a few months ago so it was longer than that when I got it cut.
After: A few pics I took yesterday.
Most of the time I keep it tied back so this is how you'll see me on the street.

Gorgeous hair, very impressive! It's too bad you had to have six inches cut. I would have thought that, at the most, three inches would have fixed it. I'm loving the all-one-length look!
Thanks for posting the pics. Sorry to hear you had to have some chopped off - but I understand why you did. by looking at these new photos, I can tell you've got some really healthy hair, and such great color.
Raise a glass as I propose a toast: "May your hair grow quickly and you never have to worry about terminal length". Keep it growing and keep us all informed of your progress, and welcome aboard!
Your hair looks great! Hopefully you'll be set now to let it grow back to the length it was, and even longer. Welcome!
Hi Nihility,
you got great hair, and, it's still a great length! Too bad you lost six inches, but it'll grow back quickly, and your hair looks better and healthier. I think you still look REALLY cool with your hair! (You do resemble a long-haired close friend of mine, by the way) The goatee looks great and fits well, too!
Looking forwards to your updates - that you may reach belt length quickly! Happy growth!
