Hi everyone,
I just thought it would be interesting to know if any guys here can attest to having the FASTEST growing hair here (not necessarily the longest), or know anyone personally with exceptionally fast growing hair. As a few examples, from guys posting in the last month or so:
1. Chris G's recent 16 month update appeared to have near 3/4 to 1 inch per month.
2. Big George recently reported over 3/4 inch per month.
3. Gymli's recent update indicated 8-9 inches per year.
Perhaps there are other "fast growing champions" out there.
Also, Gollan had hair near belt length after 3 years.(Unfortunately he has't updated his website or posted recently)
If anyone can relate their fast hair growth stories, it would be interesting.
Correction to my post-- #3 should be Gylfi, not Gymli.
I have very fast growing hair. In about one year I can easily have shoulder length hair. About 3 months ago I had my head shaved (bad story), and now my hair is already halfway down my ears.
I shaved my head in early June and as of now it's roughly 6 1/2 inches long from the root. Both sides of my family have long hair lifestyles (especially my father's, with most men in the family having hair down to middle back), and my mother was noted for her thigh length hair. I'm pretty sure genetics plays a part in the growth factor, seeming as I never thought about growing my hair out until I realized my hairtype allowed it. I have really fine, soft, shiny hair that's straight as a spaghetti noodle, so I figure once it gets out there it should look pretty good.
I'm not sure if the same level of growth will hold in the following years I plan on following this life-style, but I'm going to post frequently and let you know.
(by the way, this site is EXACTLY what I'm looking for, great community here!)
Hi, and welcome to the community! You'll get a lot of support here from guys who really appreciate and enjoy growing long hair. Hope you keep growing it out, and your 1 inch/month takes the prize for fastest growing hair so far.

Ooh, I got a mention in a topic! I'm not sure if I can attest to having some of the fastest growing hair, but I do know that I'm at least a couple of inches above the yearly average. As for stories..well, I don't think I've got any. I wasn't even paying attention to my hair growth until I joined the MLHH at the end of August this year.

I've been growing for just over 22 months. When I startred growing my hair was just touching my shirt collar now it is almost midback. I have fine hair but as gets longer it looks thicker.
I consider that fast growing.
