How often do you think the average guy is cutting his hair?
I used to get it cut every 8 to 10 weeks, but I think barbers push 6 to 8 weeks

I used to be told to come back every month or so, but I usually let it go for about three. (I actually started liking it more as it starting growing in, but cut it due to the pressure -- my own, more than others -- that I was looking 'hairier' than normal and, thus, less presentable. I have obviously grown past this silly stage of dualism: liking longer hair better yet choosing short hair because it is 'supposed to' look better...suppsed to according to what I thought I should like, rather than what I really did.)

Best way to know is to ask them.
Then they will recognize my obsession of long hair.
So what? If you really want to know the answer to this question the only way possible to know is to ask. (That is unless some sort of in-depth study has been done on this topic and is a matter of public record.)
I have now asked. 2-3 months was the answer.
when I was short-haired (thank god those days are over :P) I got a haircut every 3-4 months..too lazy to do it more frequently! :P
When I had a number 1 buzz, to keep it the same length I used to buzz my hair every 3 weeks. That was the reason I started growing my hair - got fed up of the whole maintenance routine, plus I looked like a thug.

I would imagine that depends on what kinda of haircutt he actually has or on the individual himself weither he wants to keep it looking good but in respected to your post its not really a issue for this board as this is a longhaired guys board

I remember in the military I had to do it every 2 weeks because if not it would be too long. I hate paying someone to do it because all they do is buzz you anyways... I could have done that myself with a hair clipper.
When i wore short hair over a year ago, I would cut mine once every month. most guys get it cut once every 2 weeks...others once every week depending on the style they want and the rate at which their hair grows.
