OK, this isn't the normal long hair subject we have here, but it's still interesting.
This guy is going for a Guiness world record
Pretty absurd. I have never seen anything like it.
Nor have I. Interesting, to say the least.
I do have one very fine hair on my right arm that gets out to 3 to 4 inches (7.5 - 10 cm).
Right now, it's about two inches.

Me too. I don't have one at the moment -- at least not on that part of my body. I'd have a hard time believing, though, that the one pictured is a record. Interstingly, on a CSI show tonight, a murder victim was someone with a genetic condition causing excess hairiness.
I had a three-inch-long ear hair once. It was mixed in with my mane and I didn't realize it was there until it got that long. I plucked it out upon finding it, but now I realize I missed out on my fifteen minutes of fame by not contacting Guinness instead!

I have a arm-hair (left arm)which reaches 18cm (7 inches). It's very strange because there is no nuclear station just near my house. Nevertheless, Belgium has most of its energy producted by nuclear (about 55%, in the USA = 20%) (lol).
Only one "long arm-hair" is not particularly interesting ... but a real forest of hair like mr Bigfoot, why not! (but what about the odor...) (lol).
I think it would be worth it simply as counterpoint to the claim of the guy going for a record. If you can best him, why not?
