I notice everytime i comb my hair i feel a few hairs break or pull out because my hairs so thick. Is this normal?
Hairs pulling (or rather falling out) are normal for the most part as we average around 100 a day that have completed their cycle of growth. But the snapping? No.
It almost sounds as if you may have quite a few "Split-Ends" which may be causing this to happen. You might try and "Finger-Comb" your hair and see if the results are better. Every time you hit a snag detangle until you hit the next one.
If there are just too many snags the best thing to do is go to a Salon and have "only" the Split-Ends" targeted and removed. Or, if you know what to look for it can be done by yourself. Make sure to cut just above the split, and be sure to use razor sharp sissors. The comb should then simply sail through all like a dream.
Hope this helps.
