I am currently using garnier fructis but wanted to try something else. garnier isn't cutting it for me anymore. BTW , i have wavy hair that tends to be dry.
I use and like mane and tail shampoo
seems to do a good job of getting rid of dirt
and not leave hair to dry
I've been using Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner for the longest time now. I really like it, though I know some on the board don't. Depends on the hair type, I suppose.
my site
Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage Tee Tree Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. I have only used it for a couple of weeks, because I have baby fine hair. This is a thickening product though.
I was meaning to ask if anyone else on this board has enjoyed using Neutragena products. I have been growing for 21 months, and used most all of the shampoos recommended on here, but a woman in my office with similar hair--you know the kind, wavy and tending toward frizzy!!!
From the Fructus products, I tend to get frizzy. I tried the Pantine stuff too, but the Neutragena line is great. (they are the same old brand that made the clear soap like 30 years ago, for delicate complexions). They make a clarifying shampoo which they encourage you to use weekly, and is clear as well.
They have some more intense shampoo and conditioners which come in tubes, but I like the "everyday" ones that come in pinkish bottles, which work great!!! I hope they are available world-wide, but it should be at least all over the USA. I hope more of you will give the Neutragena line a sample, and see what you think. They aren't expensive, and to my view, they are superior quality.

what's the gf doing to you that you don't like? I use it now, but am always interested in something that might be better.
around 3 weeks ago, i went to the local health food emporium and picked up 325 ml bottle of Aubrey Organics J.A.Y. desert herb revitalizing shampoo for dry damaged hair. it uses coconut oil-corn oil soap and even has jojoba oil in it. Well, I used it once and my hair was like I washed it with paint stripper. It was all this fused mass of plastic sort of (what it felt like anyway). after a few days of just rinsing it got back to normal and then I went back to the GF length and strength stuff. that was my one fling with the all natural health store shampoo. maybe it had been on the shelf too long.
hey Chris,
I too have used Garnier Fructis in the past...I wasn't pleased with the results either (I noticed excess friziness).Anyway, I now use Pantene smooth and sleek (shampoo) and pantene classic care conditioner...and the results are decent!! I've recently started using leave-in conditioner..and man...it's doin wonders!!I almost have NO friziness now...and my hair is softer now..
I suggest you try that!
I use Nature's Gate Hemp shampoo I get from the health food store. It has a nice smell and really does my hair good.
I use Tresemme shampoo(for all hair types) and Tresemme conditioner. After shampooing and conditioning, I use a glaze to sorta set my hair. Still using a hair dryer. The glaze protects my hair when I am drying it. I've got wavy hair and this stuff does a great job for me.
Keep it growin'...Mike

I'm currently using GF 'Length and Strength.' Not sure if the Length and Strength is any more than a marketing gimmick, but it works for me. I also use their conditioner and also what they call the 3 Minute Masque. That seems to be a stronger type conditioner.
