Hello everyone,
Just a question, how can I go about getting my avatar changed? I have been around long enough that I feel I should probably know the answer to this, but... I don't! I will simply attach the photo I want to be my avatar, and hopefully (like magic) it will change :) Thanks for putting up with my forgetfulness!

To answer your questions, I have not been using any shampoo or conditioner on my hair at all for the past... probably 6 months. I decided to give the "all natural" approach a try and I think it's mostly been good. I will say this, it makes washing your hair more difficult because the water doesn't quite "penetrate" hair as well without shampoo or conditioner, but if you're patient enough in getting it completely wet it seems to work pretty well.
I wash my hair daily, very gently towel dry it, then give it a combing with a wide-tooth comb to get out most of the tangles. I wear it down until it air-dries (takes about 2 hours I estimate) Usually I will brush my hair once it's more or less dry with a boar bristle brush unless I am at work. Usually at work, once it's fully dry I'll put it in a pony tail.
Now that my hair is this long, I've been having more troubles with tangles. I have talked with some women I work with who also have long hair and have found, pretty much, that tangles are just part of having long hair, so I try to just deal with them a little bit in the morning and then not worry about them too much during the day.
So far into my growing process I still love having long hair and have no intention of cutting it!
