I've got to ask a rather important question.
I have shoulder length wavy brown hair, and by itself, it looks great, but, I've been consdiering cutting it. See, im 6"2 and I have 50" shoulders. I have seen that most long hair looks a great deal better on men, who have smaller bodies. On every big guy i've seen with long hair, it either makes them look dirty, or its a mullett of all god awful things. Its just my view, that long hair wasn't meant to be worn on people like me. It dosen't flow off the shoulders, or frame a person... it just kind of hangs there..
If anybody else has a view, i'd love to hear it.

I'm about your height, but don't have your shoulders! However, I
think long hair looks magnificent on a larger guy. You may want
to consider growing it partway down your back. It'll make you
look like an ancient warrior!

Tony, you're not going to be happy if you do that. Trust me. Instead, let it grow some more and be happy that you left it alone. If it drives you nuts, just pull it back into a ponytail and wear it that way.

you have to do what's right for you... if you like your hair as it is, by all means keep it. if you want it short then cut it... keeping in mind that cutting has a considerable degree of permanence. long hair looks dirty if it isn't taken care of. if you keep yours clean and presentably neat then undoubtedly you can embody what good long hair should look like... even should you decide to attain more length. you could consult someone close to you whose opinion you value (girlfriend/significant other) and get their take on the matter- they not only get the still photo shot of you but see how you carry yourself and how your hair flows as you go about your day-to-day stuff.

What makes ou say those comments, I'ma big built/framed guyand my hair is over my shoulders now and I've had some very nice comments from people.:-)
At the end of the day it's up to you and how you feel about yourself.
