Heya, still growing here and more recently I have been trying to get rid of these dark circles under my eyes. I do need to get some more sleep, and quit dehydrating myself all the time by drinking pepsi. When the hair is back, my face is more prominent, and I think they are destroying my appearance
I believe I am very near the end of the awkward stages of my hair growth as I don't really have trouble using ties sand hair coming loose. It's been a long time coming. Hope it looks alright, I usually think it does.
yeah..I hear ya man..I have dark circles too...even though I do get a decent amount of sleep (7-8 hours average), I don't know what's causing this (perhaps the caffeine, I drink mountain dew and coffee every day,I'm a caffeine addict :P)
Too much caffine can really mess you up! I was drinking about 48oz a day of my own grind, letting it brew extra strong. I started to have a racing heart beat and hi blood pressure... 150 over 115 and pulse of 105 that with a little excertion would race to 130- 150! I quit coffee cold turkey and now I'm at 118 over 80 pulse 78 average. I'm sure it can be the sorce of other problem in excess.
BTW I still have a cup now and then, but just not in the quanity I drank before.

jesus , i should seek medical help! My pulse is always on 120 - 130. I thought it was practically normal! Thanks for bringing this up , I am now aware i have an extremely abnormal pulse
Are you in shape? That may fix the problem. When I'm in shape like I am now, my resting pulse is often in the 50s or 60s. When I've been laid up for awhile, it can be in the 90s.
Absalom is in great shape, and his pulse, as I recall, is much lower than mine. Somehow I think it's in the 30s or 40s, but he'll probably see this and tell the number.
I'd concur that resting pulse rates in the 120s are unusually high, and think about it, your heart is working twice as hard as mine is! 24/7! That can't be good in the long run.

My pulse can be as low as 38, although 40 to 44 is normal for me in the morning when I get up. In the evening, even hours after strenuous exercise, it will be 44 to 48. It takes a long time to settle and it can be very irregular as well. I can have 2 beats close together, then a big pause in between. I am pathologically high strung, and this is probably why it is so irregular. I am extremely nervous and rarely calm. My problem is likely genetic. (If I could totally calm down, my pulse would probably be 35, possibly less.)
Absalom
Remember, take your pulse when at rest (like at least 5 minutes after activity). Even moderate excertion can raise your pulse to 120ish.

Hi Revan,
I just did a quick search and found this:
http://allergies.about.com/od/darkcircles/a/aa071304.htm
Gives the top 8 causes of dark circles. Not enough sleep is number 7 on the list, and you don't qualify for "menstrual cycle". :)
My first thought was genetics, and that's first on the list. Do you have family members with dark circles.
Mostly, it may be more distracting to you than to others. I don't think it's very noticeable.

Do you mean that you now drink Pepsi all of the time, or that you plan to? If you are drinking it all of the time now, substitute water for most of them. Drink no more than one Pepsi a day.
...could be hereditary. Check out the eyes of family members if possible.
If it's not hereditary, then dark circles may be a 'warning sign.' Try getting more sleep. Take naps too.
Are you eating well balanced meals?
If you feel stressed out, try some relaxation techniques.
Keep trying out new things until you see some improvement
in your dark circles.
Good luck
More then likely they are from Histamines, allergies. See a Doc, or just try over the counter antihistamines.
