Hi Guys
Just to let you all know that our fabulous Gift Shoppe will be closing as of Jan. 17th which is its expiration date. An individual donor made possible our having this very unique Gift Shoppe available, and Luckskinds expertise in designing all within has added up to the "only" shoppe of its kind in the world with its large variety of items only available to us and designed with the Long Hair in mind.
For those thinking about placing an order, there is still time to do so and have it reach you in ample time before the holiday season if desired. Cafe Press works very fast in processing all orders which are specially "custom-made" for every single item when the order is received.
Once the Gift Shoppe expires, none of our items designed by Luckskind will be found available anywhere else on the internet as the designs are the property of the MLHH only.
In case you have never been to our Gift Shoppe, it might come as a great surprise to you. Just click on it and view the vast array of Apparel available as well as a host of other unique items which are just so superb!
My best to you all.
Justin
Thanks for the heads-up, Justin. Does a percentage of the proceeds from the shop go towards the operating costs of this board? Just curious. Thanks!
Absolutely! A very modest percent of what is purchased is sent to the Hyperboard from Cafe Press which is used as "donation money" so that we may continue the Hyperboard at no cost to all of you as has always been the case. Every cent received goes for the operation of this board.
Hi Justin,
I know how hard you Luckskind have worked to get the shoppe open and working and would be a shame to let it expire. I know that some of us would be glad to contribute.

Since you asked, it cost $6.95 per month to keep the Gift Shoppe running.
I agree with you, it would be a shame to let it close. In fact, after the holidays we had planned on asking members to contribute their own 'Hair Quotes' to be put on shirts, mugs, etc.
Tahnk you for your interest!
Yes, gman, ALL of the profits go to the Hyperboard.
Thank you for your interest.
I don't understand why a gift shoppe would have to "expire", --- it's not like it's taking up any "space"... Well, then again maybe because I'm so clueless about the computer world, I guess I'm forgetting about people needing to pay "rent" for Cyberspace...
Too bad I live too much "paycheck-to-paycheck", --- not that I can think of that many items I would actually want to buy in this shoppe. I do, however, admire Luckskind's designs. I think he did an awesome job.
Hey Ken
The Gift Shoppe was made available to us because someone donated to us the funds needed to run such a venture for 3 months. After the 3 months are up, unless renewed for an additional amount of time the shoppe automatically expires. The person who donated feels that 3 months was ample time to give the guys on the Hyperboard to aquire long hair items and thus has no reason to donate to extend the Shoppe for another 3 months.
And so do I. He is tops.........no question about that! Well known of as an artist of importance in todays world. Quite an honor to say the least..............and to think, he has given freely of his time to the Hyperboard. Have we ever been blessed.
Justin~
As I understand it, we pay X dollars per month for it and then a small percentage of the sales comes back to us as money to help fund our operations.
There are two bumps in the traffic to such a shop - when you first put it up and during Christmas. Justin and Luckskind wisely timed the appearance of the shop so both of those peaks occurred at the same time, so we can get all those sales without paying for lots of months. Traffic to the site suggests it will lose money, though, once the holidays have passed, so it makes sense to let it go. That's how it was explained to me, anyhow, and that makes sense.

It's a shame that the shoppe's days are numbered, so therefore I ordered a shirt. Hopefully it'll get here before I leave for three weeks, lol! Great job on the designs! =)
Hi Justin,
Sad news to hear it's closing, such a wonderful way to support this site. Fortunately, I ordered a couple of items last week and I received an email saying they're on their way. Can't wait to get them.
David
...have been selling. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised
to see which items the customers selected!
Thanks guys!
