A few months back, he was a really active member here. I just realized that I haven't seen him make a post on here in a good while. Then, I searched the directory of users and couldn't find him. Maybe I missed something...anybody know what ever became of Mr. Crow?
He's still in the directory, he's just listed as Shawn Crowell. I may be mistaken, but I think he's a teacher. If that's the case, then this time of year can chaotic.
Oh yeah, I think I remember him saying something about being a teacher. That would surely explain it, especially if he teaches high school. Most high schools around the U.S. are knee deep in exams right now. =P
Glad to be missed!
Sorry, SOADdude, I've just been really busy - tis the Christmas Concert Season and I am an elementary music teacher - but I have been lurking a reading as often as possible. I've just been too short on time to post regularly, though I have thrown out a few one-liner replies.
I am just past my seven month mark and still growing. Hair is feeling a bit less manageable without using a lot of styling product, which I am rarely willing to use...and I really don't mind looking like I have big hair: long hair is my goal, big hair means it is in the process of happening.
I have actually had a few comments in the past week that my hair is starting to look long....I anticipate these seemingly innocent comments to be the beginning of the peer criticism I read so much about.
I've been trying a brand of shampoo and conditioners (supposedly) designed for curly hair: Marc Anthony's CURLS line. The stuff smells nice and my hair feels manageable and soft. (Though I am still leaning on Infusium23 as my three-minute deep conditioning treatment as my top choice.)
I am afforded the time to write now because, due to a huge, very localized snow dump I have a snow day! (Crap! I need to rehearse those kids before their concert on Thursday!). (Re: the Snow, See Pics: The first was taken Dec 7 at 11:30PM, the next on Dec 8 at 8AM, then tape measured - and, yes, that is 28 inches (71cm) you see marked.)
Also, I'm about ready to update my avatar which is a couple months old. Which of the attached pics would you recommend?
Great chatting and great seeing all the new(er) members on the board. The progress pics and the ongoing discussions....Well I wish I had more time to post these days. Maybe over the Christmas break?
Well keep on gorwing, keep on posting and thanks for thinking of me.
Ciao!
Shawn (Mr. Crow)
I like the second one from the top. The 45 degree angle gives a nice view of your progress in the back as well as the front and sides.
And send some of that snow my way. I'm in central Minnesota (USA) and we've hardly had a dusting. My snowshoes are just begging for some exercise.
I agree with Mouse. The second pic would be a great choice.
Dang, that's a lot of snow!
Well, good luck with that concert, and I hope you have a great holiday season =)
