Here's a picture of me with my new guitar. It's a Jackson Warrior (WRXT), and I just got it today! Just thought I'd share it with you guys!

Yea i hear you Mark. Ive had my electric guitar laying around for 4 years. I never learned to play it. I found it too difficult.
yeah man...I've been through that too...about a year ago I purchased a cheap guitar and tried to learn how to play...but gave up rather quickly...I wasn't patient enough and I tried to be too perfect too soon (I really wanted to learn to play kirk's solo's..lol!!needless to say,that's far from easy...)

I like the body on the Warrior - it has a nice shape to it. Cool pic! Was it an upgrade or is it your first guitar?
It was an upgrade, I've been playing for almost a year (Started last christmas), and I had a really crappy guitar from Radioshack, it was $200 and came with an amp (which is also pretty bad). I've been saving up for a few months and yesterday I bought the Warrior. Now all I need is a new amp:).

Sweet. I was recently looking for an amp as well. I decided against buying something expensive/bulky (I move frequently) so I looked around online for something smaller. I ended up getting a GuitarPort. It's pretty slick - it emulates the sound of several amps and effects through software by connecting it to your computer. The sound quality is great, and it's really fun for practicing.

I was thinking about getting the same guitar when I was shopping around! I went with the Epiphone Explorer, but the warrior is one nice looking piece of axe ;)
Yeah it's pretty nice. I love explorers they look really nice, one of my friends has a Gibson Explorer, with EMG pickups and a Floyd Rose. It's a great guitar:).

Hi Mihnea,
I own one of those Jackson Warrior XT's. Mine is about 5 years old now, it's the one before the newest revision. Is yours brand new with the pickups that look like Duncan Invaders or one of the other versions?
