Hello all! This post comes a couple days early (normally I post on the 12th), but since I have finals this week, I doubt I'll have time to post any photos. Anyway, as promised, this update comes with a change of landscape. You, the viewer, are no longer tormented by mundane shots taken in room. No, rather I take you all to the study lounge in my dorm as I play a game of pool. Enjoy...
Gonna have to pull something clever to sink the 3...
An interesting shot down the rail...
Of course it's the holiday season, so we have a Christmas tree...
Such a goofy smile...
I'm pretty much the master of the table...
Scouting my next shot...
My hair just keeps getting longer and longer... yay!
There are plenty more photos for this update on my site, which you can view by clicking on my avatar. Otherwise, that's pretty much it for now. I'll be flying home to Colorado next Monday, so hopefully I'll post an update or two on my site from there.
Thanks for viewing!
-James
Hey! Your hair looks great, keep growing it! Best of luck to you in reaching your goal
-Mihnea
Your hair is looking excellent. Impeccable progress for seven months. BTW , The pool table looks awesome. How much did it cost you?
I didnt realize that this was a dorm. I figured it was your house.
That's okay. I wish I owned a table like that. Thanks for the compliments! =)
Thanks for the kind words, Mihnea. Your hair is quite awesome as well! =)
hey man..the hair is comin along great...I see a noticeable difference in length :P...also..you're part is just perfect...does it naturally part like that or do you do it? :P
I'm into billiards a lot too!!you play 8-ball or 9-ball? :)
Thanks, CA! That's pretty much my natural part, although I had been trying somewhat of a side part for the past few days. I didn't really like it after all, so I decided to switch back.
8-ball's my game. Not a big fan of 9-ball, but that's ok.
I play 8-ball most of the times myself..but I like 9-ball better for some reason...I guess it's because in 9-ball there is more room for ingenuity :P (I always challenge myself and try to sink in the 9-ball through combo's :) )
Hi James,
Congratulations! Your hair is looking better and better with every update--looks as though you're weathering the "awkward stage" without any trouble at all, and your hair may actually be getting straighter as it gets longer! Also, your website is awesome--we can never get too many hair history sites. Do you have a goal?--mid back, waist, or even longer? All the best, and keep up the great growth.
David
Thanks, David, for the great compliments! You might be right in that it's getting straighter as it gets longer. As for an overall goal, I really don't know. I know I want at least chest-length, but could go longer. Just have to wait and see, I suppose. =)
Spot on mate! Your hair is quite long for 7 months of growth, its just the right thickness and its in great condition. How long are you intending to grow it? You look pretty damn tall, shame really, as it'll take a bit longer to get your hair where you want it compared to my short-ass height of 6'0". Then again my hair doesnt go anywhere fast as it seems to like going sideways more than down : P So we are probably kinda on the same level of growth.
Keep it growing!!!
Neil
Neil , 6'0" is not short. Well , compared to 6'8" it is but you are above slightly above average. I think in your country average is 5'10" perhaps 5'11". As for your hair going sideways ...well i think its because its really thick. You have some very thick hair wich looks awesome. I wish i had that thickness!!!!
yeah man..I hear ya..I've always yearned to be taller (I'm 5'11")
I don't know why though...it's probably because I watch too much wrestling :P
Yeah, that is one of the downsides of being so tall (6'8"/203cm). But that's alright, I don't mind it too much. I'm thinking chest length for now, but may go longer. Anyway, thanks!
First, good luck on your finals...haha, I'm through with all of it already until January!
Second, your going to enjoy your hair the longer it gets, I imagine. It is not super straight, but straight enough to avoid lots of tangles and enough wave to add body. Your doing good for seven months only, and you remind me of someone I've seen in a movie, but can't figure it out just now.
See you later, Bragi
Thanks, Matt, as I'll definitely need it, lol! Actually, I really only have two tests, so it shouldn't be too bad.
Hmm... well, let me think... I've been told Macaulay Culkin when I was younger and had short hair, Tim Robbins in the Shawshank Redemption, Conan O'Brien... don't know if that helps. Probably not, but oh well.
Anyway, thanks again!
This should be a compliment, although this guy sports rather short hair.
In the movie, "A River Runs through It," Craig Sheffer, who played Norman Maclean, Brad Pitt's character's brother, had hair that was similar to yours - parted in the middle - although his was short on the back. The brown eyes are reminiscent as well.
I always liked that movie for some reason.
Nice photos and super great long hair in the making........no question about that. Just let it continue to grow. You will have fabulous long hair.
Why thank you, Justin. I really appreciate those fine words. =)
Nice. Those bangs are getting long! Its gonna look pretty sweet at the one year mark.
Thanks, Sean. I actually discovered the other day that I can put them in my mouth if I stretch them straight. Always the little goals like that that are fun.
Great looking hair James!
Keep up the good progress,
- Oren
Thank you, Oren, for the comments. =)
Wow! Congratulations! Keep growing! I think a goatee should well go.
Haha, thanks Tomhair! That might have to wait a few years still... not exactly fully capable of that yet, but I may give it a try regardless. =)
Looking good, it's coming along nicely.
Is that cross you're wearing made by St. Justin (look on the back of it). It looks exactly like the one I usually wear!
Thanks, and no actually it's just a pewter trinket I bought off the internet a little while back from somewhere in Utah or something.
Ok, it's cool anyway :)
Looking great, James. Nice creative photography as well.
Thanks, Jason! I appreciate it. =)
Looks awesome! I really like the wave your bangs have right at your temples.
Mouse
Thank you very much! I really appreciate the kind words, Mouse. =)
Nice pics, You look extra special Hott! Go you!
Hahaha, thanks, Shin. I think that made my otherwise cold-and-flu-infested day a lot better. =) You should definitely post some more updates when you get a chance.
-James
I will when i get some time, or do something cool with my hair like braid it or something =) oh and feel better soon!!!
Haha, thanks Shin. I think that comment made my otherwise flu-plagued day about a thousand times better. =) You should post some more update photos when you get a chance as well.
-James
Your hair's looking great so far and you should have something to look forward to as it grows longer. You can see some good quality and texture in it even at this point. Keep up the good growth!
Thanks, Metal-Swede. Not sure I'd be able to match your awesomeness in terms of texture and fullness, but here's to hoping so. =)
-James
Your hair is coming along nicely. Good luck with future growth!
Thanks, Pablo. Same to you as well! =)
Good pictures with the self timer James. I know its' hard to line up a descent shot and get good composition. Your hair is coming along nicely. It has great texture and looks real health.
Keep up the good growth.
Bruce
Thanks for the positive comments, Bruce. I really appreciate them! =)
Hi James,
those pictures are great, and you do look happy - happy with the growth achieved so far, and, obviously smiling in anticipation of the additional growth to come :-)
Merry Christmas, and, I'm looking forward to your 2008 updates!
