It's been about 6 and a half months since my last major haircut and I can pull off a half tail with a little help from mister gel.
Your hair looks impressive. It seems very manageable for only 6 months. I think the awkward phase should be a breeze for you. Well good luck to you pal!

Thank you. :D That took guite a bit of gel, however, and 20 some odd minutes in front of the mirror. lol It's been a LONG time since I've pulled my hair back. I've been waiting out the ackward stage with head wear(beanies, tabogans, caps), and I think I'll continue to do so for the time being. I should be able to pull it back without gel come summer. Can't wait. :)
Congratulations! A ponytail of any kind after only 6 months is a MAJOR accomplishment! Grow it onwards!

Wow! That's some fast growth. I'm at 7 months, but I don't think I'd be able to pull one as secure as that. You'll definitely be ready to go by summer. Best of luck to you!

I know that there was some prior growth to the 6-1/2 months, but being able to get all in a tail that good is indeed a major accomplishment.

I remembered it as a total breakthruough for me when my bangs would fit in the tie; I was a real longhair! You should be just as proud as I was. LOL Congrats to yer ponytail and happy growing!

That's a major mile post! It will surprise you how quickly you'll not need the help of gels to get most of your hair in a ponytail.
