I have not had a haircut since June 2005, and my hair was around 2.5-3 inches then, so I have grown quite a head of hair. One of the inspirations for me to grow my hair was this site, and this http://www.choisser.com/longhair/ bit of information. I figured that I should show it to some people who understand that 14 inches of hair is a a good thing, since my family still tease me about it, and ask when I'm going to get a haircut, they still don't seem to understand that I plan on making this a very permanent fixture on my body. Thanks to you guys for the inspiration, it made the journey a lot easier, and it's totally worth it, I love my hair, and I wish more guys would do this.
WOW! That is some fantastic hair for only 1.5 years of growth. You should be quite proud about that.

haha awesome man your hair looks great! ive been growing mine for about the same period of time but its far from being htat long, mainly cause of my trim back in october. keep it growing!
Welcome to our little corner of the internet, rilian. Your hair looks great, and you have 11" of growth in only 18 months. (You started with 3" and now have 14".) Your hair grows fast, 9" of growth would be an average value for 18 months.

Thanks for the great response guys, I always figured my hair was rather fast growing, I would have to get min twice a month cuts to keep it short, which is why I can't remember a time that my hair was less than 3 inches long, the short cuts never lasted long enough to remember. I think the last time I had really short hair I was 14 (nearly 6 years ago).
