So i tried a ponytail now about 2 months after my major trim, i think it looks pretty good, but i think i'm gonna wait at least 3 or 4 more months before i start to wear it in public, it should look better then:D
Also, i blowdried my hair today because i was in a hurry to school, that's why it looks a little straighter than usual, but i try not to do it too often, only for special occasions.
I don't think a trim is necessary yet for at least 2 or 3 months.

Looks good Simon. I had to wait a while before I wore my hair in a ponytail, I just couldn't get enough hairs in to look neat.
I think the trim did a world of good for you.

Congratulations, Simon! The trim was VERY beneficial and your hair looks much healthier and thicker now. A ponytail is always a huge milestone. Keep it growing1

I think it looks great and I don't really see any reason why anyone would think it looked silly or anything. I've seen several guys at the University here in Luleå with just a small ponytail, hair somewhere down to the shoulders, so you might actually call it trendy in a way. Keep it anyway you want, it's long enough for a tail and if you prefer it that way why not keep it in one? What is your current goal in lenght by the way?

Ja. Jag bor och studerar i Luleå samt på Musikhögskolan i Piteå. Är inne på mitt tredje år nu till att bli ljudtekniker. Många långhåriga i Piteå så där behöver man inte känna sig ensam :)
hehe, ok, det finns rätt så många långhåriga här i Kiruna också,
t om äldre män i 50-60 års åldern har jag sett:)

You didnt waste much time in getting it back in the tail lol just one thing Why wait longer as you prefer it in the tail anyway and by putting it in the tail seem to make it grow that much faster at least it did for me !
