Hey there fellow long haired friends!! =)
Here I am with my 27th month update, and am I ever so happy with my growth this month =D I have to say I really think the pictures are really generous but my sister swears my hair is really this lenght so I have to believe it actually grow quite a lot lately lol... YAAAAY!!! =P
Anyways... this month I kept on using my sweet almond oil, and I don't believe I'll ever want to stop oiling again =P It leaves my hair really smooth and silky =) Tough my ends have been a little dry again lately. I have just tried applying a lot of oil to the very ends (I hope I did well) so let's see how this goes =P
About future trims, I don't plan to touch my hair at least untill the 30 months mark... and I don't plan to cut it again on the hairdresser since I feel she took a little more than I wanted, therefore I guess I'm gonna do things by my own from now on =) Anyways, another trim is still at the distant future so I prefer not thinking about it yet...
My sister's hair has also grown a lot, and she is also really happy with it. I also guess she's been taking better care of it, for I had to piss off with her and told her that I wouldn't take care of her hair anymore unless she would give a damn for it as well... and it seems it worked =P hehe...
About my university, I have been doing a lot of beautyfull and funny things =) I'v just started my first piece of clothing, which is a t-shirt, and I'm just so excited =) As soon as I'm finished with it I'll post some pictures of it in here =D
Well, guess there's nothing really special to tell now... This month's pictures were taken in front of our christmas tree, for the very first time =) I guess they came out good, I really love christmas and last year I didn't had the oportunity for take the pictures with the tree... Here we go, and I hope you like them =) =) =)
Here I am, so happy with my life =) I love christmas, I love univerisy, I love my family and I love my hair =) Yay =D
Here is my hair from the side... Not anything noticeble as usual, but side shots are like this anyway =S =P
And now from the back, just out of the shower and before oiling (it's also combed)... =D
And dry, from the back... with my christmas tree in front of me =) How much time do you think I have to wait untill I hit a safe mid-back lenght?
Now my ponytail... I always think my circumference is smaller than it appears in the pictures... that's why I always love taking progress pictures =P
And from the back...
And my half-tail... I really love this style tough it seems hard for me to wear outide on this season because of the wind... I guess it will become more comfortable as my hair grows longer =)
And, many months after the last picture of a braid, here is my first decent braid shot =D I only went out with it once yet, but I always sleep with it now =) I wake up with already detangles hair, which makes me thrilled out =P Oh, and it's a self-braid hehe =P
Now my sister... this is her hair, longer than ever =)

Now here we are once again, always so happy with our own world =) I don't think this is our best picture ever but oh well erhmmm... =P
Well, that is all for this month =) Time seems to be flying now that I entered univeristy, there's always so much to do that I have been having less time to think about my hair, so it really apears to me longer than it would before =)
Once again, thank you guys for making this forum the way it is... Believe me, this is a special place and should be preserved as it is forever =) A truely home for long haired people =) Thank you...

Hey! Your hair looks amazing, it's gotten longer, and it has so much volume! The ponytail's thickness really shows it. Keep it growing, it'll only look better!

So far, my hair length goal is basically the length your hair is now (maybe an inch or two longer).
I am just about at the 12 month mark from a crewcut.
I am curious, sorry if u have said this before....from what length did you start growing out your hair?
b/c it took you 27 months to reach my goal...i want to know if my hair will look similar to that in 15 more months.
My hair is thick and of similar color, so i might be able to expect it to look like yours (AND I WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT!!)

As always, truly fantastic.
I want to mention specifically the wet hair pic and the braid. Wetness tends to eat volume but your hair still looks voluminous. Your braiding technique is looking very good. This pic also impresses me because a braid shows the true thickness.

Every time I see your updates, they inspire me more and more to keep growing my hair. You are so lucky!
Anyway, my questions are pretty simple, probably more out of curiosity than anything. I realize you're studying fashion design, but where do you buy your clothing? You have the best taste in fashion and it makes me jealous (in a good way, of course). Also, would you be able to post a couple pics of when your hair was shorter, say around 6 or 12 months? I'm wondering how similar my growth is compared to yours at that stage and what I can expect.
Hope your university finals weren't too stressful. Drop me an e-mail if you get a chance. I can always use some help with studying Portuguese. =)

Hey João, your hair looks fantastic. It is unbelievably thick. It looks like you are at about the half way point to your waist length goal. Assuming you are about 180cm in height, you should reach your goal in about 2 1/2 years. (From seeing past update photos, I have estimated your height at 180cm.) Keep growing it.
