My tips are becoming very brittle and dry. Many times they just snap off and leave something resembling a white pointy end of a hair. Thing is I had a little trim done 3 months ago and I still have these dry ends. Maybe its the shampoo residue, I am not sure. How much Shampoo is too much? I use a general amount but maybe I don't rinse it all out. My hair is wavy/curly and very thick/abundant. Should I just get another trim? I've been growing my hair out for almost two years and have had only one tiny trim.
Thnx
I have those too. It's not shampoo residue, that tiny white dot is the beginning of a split end. Instead of taking steps backward and regressing by trimming, I leave them alone.
Hi Camilus,
don't trim, avoid shampoo, stick to conditioner, and try some anti-frizz gel instead. Anti-frizz gel is a clear oily fluid consisting of dimethicone, cyclomethicone, and not much else.
Keep it growing!
