Hi everyone, and thanks again for this amazing board!!
It's been 3 months or so since my last update (for those who've seen my update), and I'm really happy with the way my hair is coming out ^^ (well even more than before).
I'm not sure if I'm yet still in the awkward phase or not, but as a matter of fact, I don't think it's an issue, and I don't care, people rarely notice it or give me bad comments (except the classical "go cut your hair").
Anyway, this is my 11 months (or 10 month, as I'm not sure about the date of my last haircut), and I'm really enjoying my journey, with lesser bad hair days. Also, maybe it's the length, but I don't need to wash my hair as much, routine brushing now does the trick ^^, and I think I finally found my optimum washing/week setting.
I'm really looking foward to the next months, and am really excited to see what it will look like.
I'm also still very lucky :P with the comments and critics/compliments I get from my family/friends. My brother even convinced himself to start growing his ^^ (don't know if he'll manage to pass the awkward stage, because this is what kept him before). My mum is also really supportive, as well as a few friends, even though most of them make fun of it or don't have any problems with it, but as I follow their lead (with jokes), it's not a problem for me ^^ (as long as they don't come up to me with scissors... :S ).

That's wonderful progress for only 11 months, really thick, healthy, and shiny! You have incredible volume that will look awesome with added length. Keep it growing!

Great hair, Althar, and the shape of the beardline is really nice...once that gets to be really thick it will look even cooler. I vote that you keep on growing both!

Well, you have all reasons to feel happy, it looks really good. Both the color but also the wavyness and the shine to it. Why not grow some more beard as well? I think it would suite you very well with the hair.
It's also good to hear that your inviroment is so supportive, not all of us are that lucky.
