Has anyone ever tried hair toys or any of the other methods women use to keep hair out of their face. In my opinion if you have long hair play around with it. Try some different styles. Keeping it neet and clean would help bring about more acceptance of long haired men.
I'm sure there are a lot of men who would like to grow their hair but are prevented from doing so by work and/or school dress codes.
Someone said Hairtoy?!!
Clips, slides, sticks, claws, adorned elastics (hair cuffs)...Oh My!
As a note, if you aren't up for the more feminine or sparkly types of hairtoys, there are a wide selection of toys out there in internetland that range from ambiguous to definitely in the macho camp. You'll pay more than at Walgreens, but you will end up with beautiful pieces, from carved wood to worked silver to flowed metalwork...not a bit "girly" and both more durable and safer for your hair than drugstore items.
(That said, at the moment, my regular hairtoy (for the bun I wear for work) is a single lightweight stainless steel chopstick, retailing for maybe a dollar.)
