Well its' been a year since I made the decision to grow may hair out. The last time I had a hair cut was Oct 2005, but I think its' more significant to deside to grow. A couple of milestone to note: In the last month or so I have been wearing my hair in a ponytail more comfortably, most of the loose hairs are captured. Also I have to be careful when eating pizza that I have to remove my from hair from my mouth! Well at the moment I only have time for one picture, but I'll post more later.

You certainly have great progress for only one year, looking healthy and shiny! It's certainly great to have straight hair as it grows so fast. The ability to to be able to achieve a full ponytail with all the hair restrained after only one year shows that you have really fast growing hair. I was wondering how short it was when you started? Do you have a goal length?

Thanks David! Here's a picture taken in June 2005 which is about the length I started at from my last cut in Oct. Its' not a great picture, but I think you can get an idea from I started.
As far as goal, it may be modist but, just below shoulders. Maybe more.

I'm sure that will eventually be revised to a longer length (waist length or more)once you get to mid-back! Once this urge to grow hair gets in our blood it's hard to be content with our "original" goal lol!

Thanks Ken. I'm going for just below the shoulder blades or mid back. I suspect I may get more flack as that time approaches.

WOW your hair grows quickly, its a great colour too!! I read on here that you had long hair before. How long was it before? Your hair is looking great - keep it growing!

Thanks Neil! Yes I did have long hair before. I started grow it in 1997. It was about 16 -18 inches (40-45cm) at the time I buzzed it in 2000. Man there must have been a bug going around in that year! lol

Lookin' like some very nice progress there, Bruce. Those small milestones are always the fun ones. They seem to make life just that much more enjoyable. =)
Thank you James. I don't think I enjoyed growing my hair out the first as much as this second time. I think I realise what I was missing after I cut it in 2000!
