Hey, guys.
I've been lurking on this board for some time, reading the posts with great interest.
I'm growing my hair out for the first time since I was 19. I had grown my hair before (almost at shoulder length) and cut it to get a job and have been wanting long hair again for some time.
My last haircut was in the middle of June (a typical short boy's hairstyle) and now my hair is one half inch past my nose in front, and just touches the collar of my t-shirt in the back. I don't know if that's fast or slow, but I'm happy with it.
Here's a photo I just took today:
And if that doesn't work, here's the URL to copy and paste:

I'm sure I will have plenty of questions as my hair grows longer, so you will be hearing from me again.
That's a promise, not a threat! ;)
TTFN!

Hi Wonder_Boy,
good that you started to grow your hair out - I'm sure, you'll never have to cut it again for a job or for other reasons. You got one of those faces that spell "Long hair belongs here" - seriously, it's a great style for you, and I think that the combination of long hair and earrings will look perfectly masculine (yes) on you!
Wishing you happy growth, and all the best for the journey! Glad you promise to stick around.

You're off to a good start. Even the current style looks good, but you will look great with long hair. Don't let anyone convince you to cut it. There's a certain feeling you get when you finally grow your hair long after years of wanting to.
BTW, nice earrings! They look good on you now, and will look great with long hair. I've got some like that too, but usually wear some smaller, more subtle ones these days for going to the office (I can't go without earrings, it just feels wrong, kind of like cutting hair short)
Good luck,
Peter :)
Hi! Welcome to the board!
You look like one of these lucky guys who seems to have great looking hair even through the "awkward stage". The speed of your hairs growth looks about right to me. Keep growing it and enjoy it.

Hi there! Welcome aboard the MLHH. Always good to get a new member here and you'll probably find that you'll get addicted to this place, which is a good thing of course. =)
Your hair is definitely off to a good start and will look excellent as it gets longer. Keep up the good growth and stay away from scissors!

Your well on way again! Happy growin'!
Happy Holidays,
