  hey guys,

  I read the board regularly, but don't post a lot. I thought I'd post an update in an effort to be more involved...

    Hello Pete... coming along quite nicely.

    This seems as good a spot as any to clarify the fact that Pete and I are two different people... I am the shameless lurker (hence the name) who usually, but not always, waits for threads to descend down the page a bit before adding anything.

    When one clicks the "other posts" URL when viewing either of our messages each of us shows up in the others list as "possibly this user". I'm assuming that this is because we might possibly share an ISP... mine is a large cable television company and I'm guessing that Pete's might be the same.

    I'm sure that a technical expert would be able to shed more light on this if he were so inclined- I'm assuming that most here are sharp enough not to be swayed some "user"-come-lately *ahem* who has asserted that Pete and I share the same voice. While it may be possible that we have common attitudes we would be able to express them in two part harmony assuming I can carry a tune.

    I read alot of forums. I find people's opinions facinating. The op-ed page is the only page in the newspaper I read. I can get the rest on TV and Radio. That doesn't mean I have to post on a forum just because I read it. Anyway these sites get hundreds of hits a day.
    There's some forums that shall go nameless that are just a tightnit cliche. They flame the heck out of ya for intruding.
