Does anyone know if there any products that help cure bald patches available to purchase in chemists/pharmacies? If so, what products and what retail outlets? Thanks.
Tezz........check with your dermatologist first (you'll probably have to go through your GP to have him set up an appointment).
A dermatologist will set you off on the right path as far as balding goes. You may not be a suitable candidate for Rogaine or Propecia but he'll be up front with you as far as what may work for you.
I did it 10 years ago.....Rogaine slowed the balding process down for me but I wanted more and decided to invest in hair transplant surgery.
Over the past 10 years, I've had 3 surgeries performed and my hair looks great. I probably wont need another one done however, I want a bit more density so I'm considering a fourth and final for that purpose. I'm also taking Propecia to keep any more from falling out.
You can buy Rogaine over the counter now at any pharmacy but you need a prescription for Propecia.
