does anyone know ways in which i can achieve the texture in the picture aside from the length? my hair is very thick and straight. at the moment i don't use conditioner (!) because it makes my hair go too straight which looks weird at the back and gives it no depth, which i rely on at the moment as my hair is not too long. can anybody help?
here's a picture of the way my hair looks at the moment aswell
You could try applying some molding/sculpting putty to your hair when it is wet. however, if you want it to have that wet look, you should blow dry it. To avoid damage from blow drying, you should use conditioner. (they aren't all the same, mate; just experiment with a few)
your hair's looking good, I sometimes wish I had hair as straight as yours.
It looks awesome; no need to change anything!
Hi Stewpot,
I'd just grow it. The texture will most likely come as it grows on. And, don't be afraid of conditioners. Some of them will be quite good.
All the best,
Hans-Uwe
