If you don't have any, that's fine too (I always thought the idea was a bit unscrupulous, actually).
Personally, I resolve to finish my degree and maybe even find a job before the start of 2008.

The obvious...not to cut my hair. Or put in a proactive way, "I resolve to (continue to) let my hair grow this year." Also, in a more general sense, I resolve to have more "faith" this year in the way my life unfolds, mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally and seek to find a place of peace, calm and acceptance in the midst of it. Be the Budda! Bruce'ster
first- not give in to the pressure i'll get to cut my hair upon returning home to the states in mid january (i'll have been half a world away from all my family and friends for 5mo. by then, and my hair length will be shocking to them)
second- get my degree in may
third- land a position at a medical device company (preferably the one i interned at last summer, they're big promoters of diversity in the workplace in all regards. one of the senior principal engineers wears his hair in a waist-length ponytail, and there is even a trans-gender employee.. i wouldn't expect to get any bother for growing long hair here... plus, they have a ping-pong table)

....mail my 2004 Christmas cards....(sigh)...
(obviously this is a continuing resolution !) HA!
Obviously, to keep growing it, the longer the better, and not to cave in from pressure from family, friends, co-workers etc. to cut it! Also, to try to be less stressed out about things that really shouldn't bother me.

First, to bite the bullet and brave it through the awkward stage of letting my hair grow out to my determined length. Fortunately, as long as the weather stays cool, I can wear a hat or beanie while out and about to hide it all.
Secondly, to completely change my life around. 2007 marks ten years since I graduated high school, and through a combination of bad luck and just plain lazyness, I've accomplished pretty much nothing in the last decade. 2006 was something of a personal and emotional roller-coaster ride for me as I reflected back and realized all my mistakes and wasted opportunities. No more! I'm determined to do something about it next year.
Third, to just try and have some fun, make some accomplishments, and try to make some new friends.
1) Exercise and lift weights on a non-sporadic, regular basis.
2) Lose 10 lbs. so that clothes fit and abs show.
3) Study hard in school.
That's a lot, maybe I will get one out of three accomplished!
I need to exercise more and cut down on foods that is hard to process (like can make you fat in a blink of an eye). I will finish my degree when the time comes... no way I can hurry it without causing great deal of stress which results in low grades.
1. Get a higher GPA this spring semester
2. Lose another 15-20 pounds
3. Find a decent-paying job this summer
4. Be able to wear my hair in a decent half-tail. ;)
Personally my new years resolution is to make no new years
resolutions.....
......except to keep it long.
1. To finish my degree
2. To finsih my Personal Training courses.
3. To finally 'settle down' and have my first girlfriend/long-term relationship.
4. To get accepted into Lance Storm's academy.
4b. To prepare my trip to Canada etc, promptly and efficently-to make it happen!
5. To get huge. I have the base, now it's time to step it up!
5b. To be healthy, fit and lose the bit of fat I have on my stomach.
6. To get my hair in excellent condition and to mid-back (or lower!) when dry.
& Happy Holidays everyone!
01 Commit myself to regular practice sessions in ************* (it's like that for a reason :P)
02 Get accepted to university in Egypt with a full scholarship
03 Get a better paying job in the meantime to earn enough money to help with travel expenses and have some spending money in Egypt
04 Finish everything at my current college
Every year, I vow not to make any new year resolutions. So far, it's the only resolution I've managed to keep.
