Hello everybody i need advice..I am just growing my hair out its been 5 months..Any advice for faster growth and should i get trims also how long does it take to put in ponytail?any advice will be helpfull thank you so much
Hey, were probaly at about the same hair length so i dont have any personal wisdom to share but i can pass on what ive learned from others on this board -
it's important to have a healthy diet to ensure steady growth. as for making it grow faster, the only thing i heard that really works is getting pregnant... but if u cant manage that, i suggest just sticking to eating right ;)
i think most ppl on this board will tell you to avoid trims unless you're hair is damaged, or if you have reached your desired length. some ppl will tell you that if u absolutley need a 'clean-up' trim to make sure they only take off a tiny bit, because sometimes they can get carried away. also, stay away from thining shears at all costs.
a pony tail will prolly take you between 12mo. and 16mo. depending on your hair growth rate and how much hair u started with.
hope my recycled info helped :P

Good luck in growing your hair out which will grow on an average of 1/2" per month or 6" per year.
