I dont know why but it seems Watsons near me isn't carrying much Mane and Tails and I can't find any other cones free shampoo or conditioner (That Diameth-whatever-cone is in every shampoo I can find) that doesn't cost a ton of money. I managed to find Mane and Tails shampoo but not conditioner and I don't know how long will they be carrying the stuff... so for all I know they could have dried up by the time I will need them... think I should start making my own shampoo and conditioner?
If I just rub jobaba oil (its one of the ingredient in Mane and Tails conditioner) into my hair can that be used in place of conditioner?
I suppose you can ask them are they terminating the sales? You could further ask them if you can find it anywhere else? They might be experiencing some stock shortage at the moment?
Anyhow, do not be too overly-concerned about using a strictly cone-free shampoo or conditioner. In any case, shampoos are largely cone-free, except for those 2-in-1s. As for conditioner, if you cannot find cone-free ones, look out for those with Dimethicone (instead of Amodimethicone), even better are those with cyclomethicone, as the latter (cyclo) is the most soluable cone, with the (amod) most insoluable.
Another hint may be, look for the order of appearance of the "cone" in the "ingredients" list. If it appears further down the list, it means that the proportion is smaller, as compared to if it appears at the beginning of the list.
Lastly, you may consider buying a "clarifying shampoo". This shampoo will remove buildup and cones accumulated in your scalp, and restore you hair's "breath-ability". Use it once per month and all will be fine.
Hope these helped.
Merry Christmas to all and may God continue to bless this board and its members :)

I would like to know though, what is clarifying shampoo called in Chinese (obviously most staff at Watsons dont know any english at all, I used to work at Watsons but not now) and is there any brands available in Taiwan? I recall seeing some kind of tea tree shampoo or body shampoo, I do not remember... what active ingredient should I look for in a clarifying shampoo?
