* Enough cash to add a 2Gb memory kit to my PC, effectively maxing it out at 4Gb of RAM.
My presents consisted of a Queen Live from Wembley DVD, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, Three T-Shirts and a lot of chocolates and money. My main present which I am buying myself is a leather trenchcoat that I am most looking forward to getting.

My Friends got me a set of Insignia speakers. They heard me talking about how this audio board I read raves about them. There are a few mods that can be done to the speakers to improve the performance. They are decent speakers by themselfs, however they are lacking in upper mid-range and treable performance. Should be interesting.
My dream gift would have been a H.H. Scott 299-D Amp. :-)

If I connect them to my Concept receiver I can turn them up to 20. The highest I ever had my Concept to was 6 and it was so loud that I had to turn it back down some. LOL It is amazing what 55 real watts per channel can do. Vintage audio all the way over here. :-)
My sister and I both decided years ago that we wouldn't get eachother "stuff", because neither one of us were necessarily that good at figuring out what the other wanted, and neither one of us are into "the consumer society"; but that doesn't mean we're sourpuss anti-consumerist, counter-culture versions of puritans. It just means that we do things a little differently.
Since I'm not hung up on doing it on an exact date, I take advantage of post-holiday sales. I'm hankering for the following:
1. A non-iPod MP3/FM player. I've been without portable music since my walkman broke, and I have my eye on one of the Sandisk players.
2. A flatscreen built-in unit, but this depends on whether or not my company puts me in a position where I have to move.
3. In the "stocking stuffer" category, a 1GB USB flash drive. I've been wanting one of those little gizmos for a while now, so I ran out and bought one today.
4. I have the whole week off. Yay!!!
5. And of course, I have made some donations to worthy causes.
6. Oh, and I've had my eye on a digicam like... forever now. If I have to move, I'm going to get a good cam to make up for not getting the TV. I'm a bit torn between getting a lower quality cam that I won't mind carrying everywhere, and getting a really good one.
It's funny that most of the stuff here is electronic... I guess I've held off on some of these tech item purchases for so long that it's really built up.

--my son made me a ceramic incense burner in his art class.
--my middle daughter wrote me a poem called "My Daddy" and had it framed. Made me cry on Christmas morning.
--a new set of wine glasses
--lots of dark chocolate (I'm a d.c. fiend)

1- A new biker wallet, they are all I use as they hold lots of stuff.
2- Some cologne, I don't use cologne but I put it on anyways not knowing how strong it was (4-5 squirts) and even after taking a shower can still smell it. Really strong stuff.
3- A nice necklace with my fathers picture etched on it, he passed away 11/15/06 of leukemia. That gift tore me up but it was a nice thought, just too soon. I don't wear jewelry so I will hang it on my night stand.
4- A bottle of Infusium-23.
5- And last but not least. A gift card from my wonderful wife for a haircut. Crazy huh?
I've worn one for the last 15 years. They're awesome.
Yea, they are very durable, if you can find the heavier thick ones. This is the 3rd one that I have had since I was about 15-16 years old.
The first 2 lasted over 30 years.

I have the LaCie 250 as well. Mines a USB 2.0 drive and I have it plugged into my file server. The two mirrored 20 GB drives can't hold all my stuff either. LOL

I can't get over how amazing the brushed aluminum casing looks. It's so sleek. lol. Well, now I have room for all the music that I've been wanting to... uhh... download. lol.

Besides the fact that Kane stars as a serial killer , The movie itself is excellent. It is a typical slasher flick. Gore galore and dummies getting hacked!!!! I love it
