So my wavy, thick hair is REALLY frizzy. It doesn't look frizzy in the picture because of the flash, and the picture is old anyway.
So anyway, I bought VO5 Hot Oil Treatment and Aussie Moist Conditioner. I've heard that a hot oil treatment does wonders for damage, frizz, etc. And I've been using Aussie Mega Shampoo for a while, and I'm very happy with it, so I thought I'd try some Aussie moisturizing conditioner (I've just been using some cheap conditioner).
Okay, well, I'll probably post tomorrow after my shower and let you know if these products helped at all.
I look forward to the member review.
I am very satisfied with these products. I should have only used one new product, so that there's only one variable, but I think the hot oil treatment made the bigger difference anyway.
My hair looks and feels a LOT better. There's a lot less frizz, it looks healthier, and it feels really soft. It's a lot easier to detangle, too, but my hair doesn't get a lot of tangles anyway. I've heard most longhaired people use it either once or twice a week, so I'll have to see how long it lasts. I got a pack of two tubes for about $4. I think. I don't remember the price exactly. But whatever it is, it's well worth it.
Aussie products and VO5 Hot Oil Treatments really helped me when my hair was at an earlier stage in the growth cycle as I was also really battling frizz and needed something to fix it. Needless to say that it worked although now I tend to use Dove products moreso. I say stick with them as they are really good and have worked for me. Best of luck with the frizzies and have a good new year also dude.
