Hi,
Referring to your query below, a clarifying shampoo typically contains acidic compounds (vinegar, lemon, citric acid etc), that makes it a low pH shampoo. In Chinese, it is usually known as "³ÎÇåÏ´·¢¾«" (clarifying shampoo) or "Éî²ãÏ´·¢¾«" (deep clensing shampoo). You may somehow try and describe its functions to the staff like: It's a shampoo that removes build up (¶Ú»ýÎï), mineral (¿óÎïÖÊ), styling products (ÃÀ·¢ÓÃÆ·).
Alternatively, you may try home-made clarifier. Simply mix water and apple cider vinegar (Æ»¹û´×), in a ratio of 3:1 or 4:1 (three parts water, one part vinegar) and pour it over your scalp. Massage in and leave it for quarter to half an hour, then wash away with your usual shampoo.
Please pardon the simplified Chinese, as my computer only allows me to key in SC (hope it's readable for you).
Oh cool. If you have IE, you go to View menu, Encoding, More. there you can chose simplified Chinese, and it won't destroy the European characters, although it did change my font. I don't know Chinese. I've wanted to learn, but it's "Another Fine Thing I Don'T Have Time For (TM)".
Oh, but that's odd. The hyperboard shrunk my GIF. Is it supposed to do that?
Yes. Photos larger than 600x450 are proportionally shrunk to fit into a rectangle of that size. This only applies to uploaded photos. Larger photos can be included in messages if put somewhere on the Internet (such as in your own personal web space) and then linked.
The shrinking feature is included to keep site bandwidth and downloading bandwidth at a reasonable level. Most photos when taken now are bigger than 600x450, while that is about the maximum size wanted for putting on a web board. The shrinking feature allows those with photos to put them in their messages without having to get a program that does shrinking and running their photos through it first.
