WOW!! I much appreciate everyone's kind comments to my thread about almost being at belt-length. If I wasn't so short on time recently, I'd reply to everyone individually; but the next best thing is to answer some of your questions here in this thank you thread...
First, re. my hair color: no, I don't color it at all, or add any highlights that aren't my own by good ol' Mother Nature. Don't remember who asked about that; but there's your answer (lol)!!
This pic I hope to include will show you that my so-called "platinum blonde" streaks are really just the white hairs I have coming in through hard-earned geezerhood!
DavidN asked a question about what my length was at 2 &1/2 years of growth. My answer is that I think it was at about the same length as yours is currently!
To Big George: I love love LOVE your idea of wearing one of those ultra-wide Texas-style belts, --- and yes, then I could indeed say my hair was already "belt-length" (lol)!!
Bragi, WOW, a poem, --- I'm HONORED (and it's a fun one, too)!!!!!
Peter73: my hair is darker-looking in that recent pic (as opposed to my avatar pic), because it was taken very late in the day (just before sunset, instead of mid-day on an overcast day, which happened when my avatar pic was taken). I tease about only stepping outside in public around sunset-time, so I can stay "forever blonde" (instead of the greying guy I really am)!
Thank you all again!!

(There were apparently troubles with the previous pic, so I'll try another. This one was taken about a year ago...)

Great pic, Ken! Just like the pics of you at the beach. Wow! I knew your hair was long but didn't know it's almost to your belt... YEAH!
Take care and give my best to Even,

Ah, I see. It's amazing how the lighting can change the color of your hair in those pictures! Looks good either way!
my blog
Thanks Ken, for the answer to my question! As a fellow old geezer the same age as yourself, there's hope for me yet! I guess I will keep growing it for another 4 years and maybe I WILL be the proud owner of a belt length mane by then! By then I'll be retired and I DO plan to visit California and see that awesome coastline!
Keep it growing,
David
Hi David,
The belt length hair sounds like a plan to me! I don't have any particular length in mind. Currently at mid-back and growing. When you retire and come on out to California, we'll definitely have to get together with other MLHH members for a visit. I'm in San Jose, about 50 miles [small distance by California standards] south of Ken.
Take care and keep in growing!
--Rick, another 'old geezer' at 54!
Hi Rick,
Sounds good! I better get that hair growing a lot faster to catch up with you guys. Maybe we'll form a "long haired geezers club" LOL! (Actually, I plan to retire in around two years but I figure belt length is at least 4 years away, I'm averaging around 4-5 inches/year now. I think you'll make it to belt length in the next year or two, your hair grows FAST!)
Keep it growing forever!
David
