OK guys (and you wonderful gals who also take part); this Old Fat Fart has reached the one year mark. Just turned 53 before Christmas and still plugging away.

And meet the latest addition to our family this Christmas: Boudreaux

Your progress looks great. Quite a good length for one year.
And, what a great dog! Two of mine sitting here as I work.
Robert
I appreciate the kind words. And we are thrilled with Boudreaux. Very calm and laid back. Our last dog was a Dalmation; tremendous pet, but so hyper he would chew the bricks off the house for fun.
You've definitely accomplished some great growth for just one year, George! Another year and your hair will be awesome! =)

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to it! Appreciate the support.
Great progress, Big George! And your new family member is beautiful! Happy New Year (both the new calendar year and the new year of hair growth)!

And the same to you, my friend!
Hi George,
Can't see them, all I get is photobucket which requires a login to seem do you need to be a member or something? And I was SO looking forward to your one year update!
David
Hi David,
You have to copy and paste the URLs into the address bar. Then you should be able to see the pics. Hope this helps!
--Rick
Yea, they were supposed to appear but didn't. Try to cut and paste the address line and see if that works.
I should try to figure out how I screwed up, but at the moment my "straighten out my screwup" list is fairly long and it might take a while to get to this one. :o)
Let me know if that works.
George
Hi again George,
That's exactly what I did, copied and pasted each one into the address bar, all I get is photobucket with no pictures! My, computers are maddening!
David
Same here...
I have discovered one good side effect LOL. I now have a photobucket account (since I was trying to log in too photobucket to see George's pictures, I created an account), which hopefully means I can post more than one picture per post, rather than having to post separately for every picture. (I already uploaded a couple of pictures to my photobucket account) This should come in handy when I post my 33 month update in mid January. Now, if I can figure out how to get photobucket pictures to the MLHH.....my computer skills may need further upgrading!
That's what I had to figure out; after logging in go into account options and then go into "edit my album settings". Make sure the last item "display IMG" is checked. This will give you the path to paste into the subject here so that the photo will show up in the body of the message.
Just testing, see if I can get my avatar picture loaded from photobucket to show up.
Looking good, David!

Thanks, Rick! Maybe I'm not that hopeless with computers after all! Now I'll be ready for my 33 month update in January, I won't have to make a bunch of separate posts if I want to include more than one picture.
David
It'll be 3 years for me in March since my last haircut. A new addition for me is a moustache. A couple of months ago I grew a moustache and a beard for 2 weeks. I really didn't care for it so I shaved it off. Just recently I decided to grow just the moustache. Wow! Where did all the gray hair come from?! ;) I'll post some pics soon.
--Rick
Hi Rick,
I had a moustache for many years which I shaved off around 2001 mainly because it WAS so gray--didn't match my hair LOL! I've never had a beard, I've often wondered how I would look with one. Maybe I'm afraid I might give my family, co-workers etc. a heart attack if I grew one! (Another retirement project, perhaps?)
David
Go for it, David!
I am a fan of facial hair, particularly on long-hairs. Why not just see what it looks like? You could start small (just grow sime shortish sideburns) and gradually increase their range by shaving less closely to their edges. Then the beard sort of creeps in = less suprise and no need for a defribulator.

I will repost above shortly
