I was just lying on the couch finger combing some tangles out of my dry hair when I noticed my wife looking at me with a very strage expression; a mix of disgust, awe, and fear. Naturally I took a picture of what she was looking at, at what inspired such a reaction.
I find it rather humourous. (Though it is a photo-testamonial about why us curly hairs aren't really to comb our hair....unless one WANTS to look like this.)
Cheers, all.
Shawn
LOL!!! I've messed with my hair enough to make it pretty fluffy, but never anything like that! :-) Priceless!
Mouse
LOL! Good luck with your marriage. ;-)
Hi Shawn,
Frankly, I think it's awesome! It just shows how much hair you do have, and what a great accomplishment 8 months has given you. I think your wife just needs to learn to appreciate the "finer things in life" LOL!
David
Do NOT go around any young children looking like that!!! Ha Ha
We should have a BIG HAIR thread and see who can top that "do" of yours... Bruce'ster
Shawn,
Wow, your hair is long. Actually I think it looks great
but it reminded me of that disco era. Lol.
I am thinking about a lesson plan, wearing hair like this! LOL!

Hi Shawn,
I think that the "big hair" style is great - you could wear it anytime! People just would have to get used to it. I do see the humor though, but that's due to the surprise of discovering a new hair style, not really to the hair style itself.
Good to see it grow!

Hahaha, whoa! That's an awesome side-effect of having curly hair. Perhaps you could try out that look one day just to see how your students and colleagues react. I bet you'd get a few positive comments. =)
Yeah, I plan on wearing this to school for the next 'crazy hair' spirit day. It'll turn a few heads, for sure.
Thanks.
Shawn
Great pic, Shawn! I never gave it much thought about the actual amount of hair people with curly hair really have. How's that for hair with body?! :)
Here's a pic of me back in '79 [I'm the one in the back :) ]. My hair was permed, which the only way for me to get any kind of fluff with my hair!

Ah, the 70s... I was 3 1/2 when the calander turned the page to 1980.
Curls didn't look bad on you. Thanks for posting!
Shawn
HAHA, that is awesome. Keep it growing. It is going to look awesome when it gets long.
Lol!! Oddly enough, I actually LIKE the "big hair" look (although I can understand your wife being in shock seeing it for the first time like that)! Quite a "transformation", I'd say!!
Yes, you'll without a doubt get a reaction at your school if you do wear your hair that way at work some day... keep us posted!
