Hi,
I am kind of going through the awkward phase right now. I have been using a winter cap to hide my hair. I was curious does that effect in the long run? I mean does the hair get spoiled or stop the hair growing at its normal rate?
Any Ideas??
Thanks
Shyam
i am in the akward phase too, its just at the bottom of my ears right now. i wear a tuke all the time, it wont effect the growth dont worry, just dont wear it to bed lol.
No it wont affect your hair at all. Just make sure to remove it EVERY NOW AND THEN to allow your scalp to breathe a bit. Its like wearing a pair of socks for long hours and not removing them to let your feet breathe....... ewwwww
I don't think it affects growth, but I would worry about hat hair.

Hi Shyam,
I'm also going through the awkward phase and use a winter hat to keep my hair down. It's nice because the hair was starting to curl at the tips, but the hat helps train it to lie straight. I doubt a hat stops or slows hair growth rates (mine's still growing fine as usual), but like Christopher said, be sure to take it off sometimes to let your scalp breathe. Also be sure to wash the hat every once in awhile to keep it clean and get rid of the dirt/sweat that could cause your forehead to break out after awhile.

Hats are great and I think can enhance long hair appearance. They do not affect hair growth, but of course will leave "Hat Hair". They will keep you significantly warmer, which is great in the winter.
It is a shame that women stopped wearing those fantastic pieces of art from the turn of the century
Hats and caps will protect your hair from the damaging effects of the sun, and they will not stop or
stunt the growth.
